Updated Guide to PA Homeschool Law available free on PHAA website
Susan and I just updated our Guide to PA Homeschool Law to reflect the changes in the law that went into effect on October 31 when HB 1013 was signed by Governor Corbett. You can read and print out your own free copy of this 29 page guide at the following URL:
Meanwhile, our 32 page Guide to the PA Homeschoolers Diploma continues to be available as a free download on the same website:
If you lose these links, you can find then both on the home page of the PHAA (Pennsylvania Homeschoolers Accreditation Agency) website: www.phaa.org.
The keynote speaker at this year's PHAA conference will be Suzanne Tallman, the Pennsylvania Department of Education's homeschool liaison. She will be speaking on the topic, "New Changes in the Homeschool Law: What Do They Mean for us?"
There will be five break-out sessions during the day, during each of which you will have a choice between three or four sessions. At a break-out session for PHAA evaluators, Suzanne Tallman will discuss the evaluator's new responsibilities as a result of the changes in the PA home education law. Mark your calendars for this year’s conference (April 20, 2015) and register now!
