Because you have met the state law requirements for testing YOU could administer the re-test. See Pauline´s website for more info on where you can get tests to administer yourself or have someone else administer: http://home.comcast.net/~askpauline/hs/homeschooltesting.html Some suppliers have restrictions on who can administer.
The advantage to administering yourself is that you will get to see exactly the types of questions that are asked. You may want to do the Terra nova again and see the exact types of questions that are in the sections that your son had difficulty with.
