The Tree of Life Homeschool Group will present “Charlotte’s Web” at 6:30 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday matinee at United Community Church of God, one mile north of Confluence off Route 281 in Ursina.HowardA cast of 32 students, ages 5 to 18 years old from the tri-state area, will bring the full-length play adapted from the popular children’s book written by E.B. White to life through a series of adventures....
This weekend’s performance is being produced locally by Tree of Life Homeschool Group, based in Meyersdale. Jody Best, a member from the Confluence area and a former Rockwood teacher, will direct the play.
Tree of Life Homeschool Group meets every Tuesday at Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church and formerly met at Springs Mennonite Church. The group started out 18 years ago as a grassroots effort of families from Somerset and Fayette counties in Pennsylvania, Garrett and Allegany counties in Maryland and parts of West Virginia....
