Home education is really not difficult in PA. You have two options:
- Public Home Education. You can enroll your children in a public cyber-charter school. For info, click on "Homeschool Links" onthe sidebar and contact several of the cyber-charter schools that are listed. Everything is free if you enroll your children. Also, there is no requirement that you or your husband have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Private Home Education. People who comply with the home education law have no problem homeschooling in PA. In CA there was a court case against homeschooling, but it is being reconsidered and is not stopping people from homeschooling there either. One problem, however, is that either you or your husband has a have a high school diploma or its equivalent. If you decide to go this route, I recommend you get our two guides (our guide to the law and our guide to our diploma), available from our online store if you click on "Enter Store" and then "Our Publications."
