This past year (my junior year) I took Apologia Chemistry. (I´d taken two other Apologia courses in previous years -- Biology and Marine Biology -- and loved them.) I really like the Apologia curriculum as it approaches science from a Christian perspective. The Chemistry was (is!) a great course; very in depth and covers A LOT of material. It´s definitely a challenging course and the author says that, if students can maintain an A or B average, they will be very well prepared for college-level Chemistry. The experiments all use ingredients which can usually found in our house (or at the nearby grocery store!.
