If she got expelled, then how can they count that as being truant? Is she being allowed back in the school after a period of time, or is she not allowed back at all this year? With it being 9th grade, and the end of the year, why not just ride it out until the fall? She will have to make up credits, but she will not have to repeat the whole 9th grade year. If you want to homeschool her, then my suggestion is to start in the fall, making up the credits she will need.
I see people post about this all the time. In my opinion homeschool should not be a decision made on the spur of the moment. If you really desire to homeschool her, then I say start fresh in September.
